Exciting News!!
We have paid off Mending God's House!

Final payment for Mending God's House was made this past week! Thanks for everyone's contributions and dedication to paying this note off early! We will truly be able to celebrate our Independence this 4^th of July 2008.

We will continue to take contributions to Maintaining God's House. This will be a separate account on our ledger that we will utilize for unexpected costs to maintain the property of Second Congregational UCC. Please continue to give to this fund as we hope to avoid any further debt like the note we just paid off!

Second Church was renovated during 2003 with extensive work to the interior and exterior. Some were cosmetic changes, such as painting, resurfacing of the parking lot, reconditioning of church pews and new doors, while most of the work was overdue "fixing-up," such as:
