Pastor Scott Davis Says Good By

As you begin the fall season of worship, programming, and service, I write to you to wish you farewell and Godspeed. During my four years with you as your Senior Pastor, I have learned much about the ministry. I thank you for the opportunity to serve our Lord Jesus Christ with you, and I pray that you will continue to reach out to all people with His love.

Thank you for your support, encouragement, and prayers over the years. You, and the ministry which you share in Jesus Christ, have been in my prayers and there they shall remain.

God's blessings be upon you, and your ministry, as you go forward to serve the Lord Jesus.

FAREWELL

After four-plus years, Scott Davis and his family are leaving Second Congregational UCC here inGrand Rapids. We hope that we, as a church, have been of benefit to you in your ministry.

We will all have memories of Scott, Erika and Ian, and wish them well in their new journey. Life is a journey, and each day we learn a little, laugh a little and cry a little. We pray that what we have learned will make us stronger and wiser as we move forward to do God's work. May Scott's teachings be of great benefit to those he will be preaching

to during the coming years.
