FALL SUNDAY SCHOOL

Fall Sunday School begins on Home Again Sunday, September 7 and takes place during the 10:30 worship service.

Nursery Care:  in the Kids' Harbor (downstairs) for children 3 years and younger

Preschool Sunday School - in thePreschool School room on the main floor.  Our preschoolers will be learning the stories of creation, God calling Abraham and Sarah, and

about their descendants, Esau and Jacob.

Kindergarten - 6^th Grade - downstairs.  This Fall we are beginning "Faith Branches"- a new rotation model Sunday School ministry for our elementary children.  This is a program that we have shaped ourselves.  Children will spend the year exploring Bible stories related to the theme, "Witness to God's Presence."  This Fall we will begin with Creation (September) and then move on to the Exodus story (October), and then Into the Promised Land/the Ten Commandments (November).  During the year, children will go to various workshops, including cooking, games, art, science, Bible storytelling, music, and theater.   Adults will serve either as workshop leaders or shepherds.  See Pastor Tracey or Laura Womersley for more information.

Junior High:  Our Junior High youth will be in our newly decorated (and still being transformed) Junior High room (downstairs).  They will be studying "Essential Bible

Passages for Youth".

Senior High:  Our Senior High youth will meet twice a month.  This Fall they will be learning about "Christianity's Family Tree" - what Christians of other denominations believe and how these other beliefs and practices compare with our own United Church of Christ.
