Education at Second
CHILDCARE/NURSERY JOB
Children's Live Nativity, Sunday December 21 10:30 Service We are seeking children 3 years - 6th grade to be shepherds, angels, magi, etc., and Jr. High youth to be readers. If you would like for your child to be part of the Live Nativity, contact Pastor Tracey by December 10.
The children in our elementary Sunday School ministry, Faith Branches, are learning the Christmas story from both Matthew and Luke's accounts (and how they each share different aspects of the events leading up to Jesus' birth). Together we are discovering that the first people to hear the good news of Jesus had a special role to play in sharing this news with the world. Moreover, each of us is called to share the Good News of God's Son, Jesus.
Thanks to our Good News workshop leaders: The Garden (Art): Amy Manning The Vineyard (Cooking and Games): Stacey Pyper Science: Gilda Sorenson

Thank God It's Wednesday begins Sept. 17!
Wednesday Night Dinners for our Church Family take place 5:45-6:30 PM. (Food is served until 6:20.)
Wednesday Night Child Care
We want to keep our children safe, properly care for them and make church fun for our kids. Thus, on Wednesday Nights, 6:20-7:35 PM, we are providing a Quiet Room (in Kids' Harbor) for Toddlers - Preschoolers and for older children who wish to read or draw, supervised by Laura and Megan Womersley. We are also offering a Game Room (in the Jr. High Room) where children may play board games, ping-pong, fuse ball, or watch a movie, under the direction of BettyBeth Johns and Jeff Larsen. The Board of Christian Educations asks that after eating dinner, children be in the Quiet Room, in the Game Room, at their music rehearsal, or with their parents.
