Sunday Worship Service Times: 8:30am (Chapel) & 10:30am (Sanctuary)
The principle role of 2nd Church is to worship and praise God through daily life and in Sunday worship services. Our worship strives to be reverent, authentic, and dignified, while still maintaining a sense of celebration and joyfulness. A relevant, scripturally-based sermon is offered each week by one of our Pastors, along with well-rehearsed and inspiring music, intended for the glory of God and to edify the worshiper. Our traditional, but engaging services seek to praise God while equipping his people spiritually to serve Christ during the week. The Chancel Choir leads the congregation in music each week (September through May), and the Organ is the principle instrument used for congregational singing. Children and youth worship with the congregation for the first 20 minutes, and leave after the Children's Message for Sunday School. Worship also serves as a time to meet and greet young and old faces alike and to mutually encourage each other in our faith journeys.
There is a place in this warm fellowship for all of God’s children.
