Children are welcome at all 2nd Church worship experiences, even when Sunday School is also provided. We practice Open Communion at all services, meaning that children are welcome to partake there as well.  On the Sundays which we celebrate Communion, one of our Pastors leads a short Communion service for the Sunday School Children and Teachers.  Occasionally children lead sections of the Sunday liturgy and each Spring the children’s choir does a musical during the 2nd service.  Worship notebooks and stuffed animals are provided in the narthex for children needing something to hold or physically do during worship.
