At 2nd Church Vacation Bible School (VBS) is the work of a village, a congregation.  From our Junior High Teen Singers leading singing and dancing, the men operating a large waterslide, high school youth assisting in the preschool rooms, and parents and grandparents teaching, shepherding, and leading snacks and crafts, to people donating snacks and decorating supplies, we all come together to do VBS.  In 2008 our theme was “Beach Party”, as we hosted 55 children and in 2009 we had “Camp E.D.G.E.", hosting 75 children.  This summer, July 2009, our VBS Mission Project was to bring teddy bears and turn them into Prayer Bears, which initiated our congregation’s ongoing Prayer Bear Ministry for people needing love and prayers.  Stay tuned for information regarding our 2010 VBS!
