Faith Branches: Rooted in God, Reaching out to the World is the name of our rotation model Sunday School, our Sunday education ministry for kindergartners through 6th graders. Each school year our K-6th graders journey through seven important Bible stories, following an annual theme. They spend approximately 4 weeks on each Bible story or concept, going to a different workshop each week to experience the Bible story from a new angle, utilizing different art forms and teaching/learning styles. Children also spend a few minutes each week memorizing and reflecting on key scripture passages that can sustain and guide them through life. Each class has two shepherds that go with them to their various workshops and build a nurturing relationship with the children. To find out more about our Faith Branches ministry, click here. Our elementary children go to the first 20 minutes of the 10:30 service (during the school year), come up for the Children’s Message, then are excused, group by group, for Faith Branches. Faith Branches ends at 11:45 AM.
